Ilisa Oman is an avid traveler and a rabid Disney fan, having made her first visit at tender age of two, just two months after the Walt Disney World Resort© opened. After a career in government affairs, she took time off to stay at home with her young children. During that time, she helped many friends plan various trips to Disney. When it came time to decide her next career path, it only seemed natural to go into the travel business. After introducing her children to Disney when they were 16 months and 4 months respectively, and numerous vacations after that including one to Spain, she discovered that planning family vacations is a whole different world and there is a real need for travel professionals in that area. She has also traveled through the Caribbean and Europe and can't wait to share her knowledge with you!

She is a graduate of Travel Campus and the College of Disney Knowledge. As a graduate of the College of Disney Knoweldge, Ilisa is a Disney Specialist which indicates an individual who has attained special knowledge of Disney Destinations (not an agent, affiliate or employee of Disney). In addition, she has certifications from the American Society of Travel Agents as a Travel Marketing Specialist and a Family Travel Specialist. Ilisa also received the designation of Royal Caribbean International Cruise Expert and achieved prestigious Commodore status in Princess Cruises’ Academy training program, certifying her as an expert cruise professional with Princess. Her training does not stop there, however. She has received her Hawaii Destination Specialist certification from the Hawaii Visitors and Convention Bureau and recently became a Mexico Destination Specialist as well. She has been quoted in the first edition of the Passporter Disneyland Resort© and Southern California guidebook and has published articles on traveling with children.
